Classic Game Room HD reviews DARKEST OF DAYS for Xbox 360 where you fight your way through history in this very interesting and bizarre first person shooter! Ever wanted to tear through the American Civil War with a futuristic machine gun, or run through the trenches in WW1 with superballs that save people from being wiped out of time??? Well, if you can take the technical glitches and jerky gameplay then you may really dig Darkest of Days for Xbox 360. This CGR review of Darkest of Days has gameplay from this science fiction / historical shooter where you engage in combat during the Civil War, WW1, WW2 and more. Antique weapons and sci fi artillery are at your disposal, but not all at once. Darkest of Days may just be the weirdest FPS you’ll ever play with a lengthy storyline and odd animation scenes. It’s not for everyone, but for those who enjoyed the Highlander TV show or Quantum Leap it may be right up your alley.

Classic Game Room HD reviews CALL OF DUTY 2 for Xbox 360 (also on PC). Call of Duty 2 is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, it takes place during World War 2 and features several characters from the allied perspective. You play as a Russian, British soldier and American and fight wave after wave of Nazis in dozens of intense battles across the globe. Massive in size and scope, COD2 has an immense single player campaign that is both challenging and exhilerating with constant, non stop gunfights and some vehicle levels. Duke it out across deserts, wrecked cities and through France during the D-Day operation, this early release for the Xbox 360 was a pretty heavy hitter as far as first person shooters go. Extremely affordable today and overshadowed by its younger sibling, COD4 Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 2 should not be overlooked by fans of action games, FPS shooters and WW2 video game enthusiasts. This CGRHD review of Call of Duty 2 has gameplay footage from COD2 showing game play during this World War II video game where the din of battle rarely dies down.

For starters you are playing as a vacuum cleaner in a bank surrounded by criminals. Vector graphics and awesome sounds make this a must have for Pac Man fever maniacs who just can’t get enough Pac Man. Clean Sweep from GCE is on the Vectrex, the vector graphics video game system from the early 80’s. Clean Sweep is an old school arcade style video game with a screen overlay and lots of charm. This CGRHD review has gameplay from Clean Sweep on the Vectrex showing game play and screen footage from the game cartridge. This is a must play for retro gamers.

Classic Game Room HD reviews WOLFENSTEIN 3D for PS3 from the Playstation Network store, also available for Xbox 360 on Xbox Live Arcade XBLA, Wolfenstein 3D is originally from id Software and was released in 1992 on PC. This version is published by Activision for Playstation 3 and XBLA and runs in 720P high definition (on PS3) and looks and sounds terriffic. Regarded as the first, modern first person shooter, this FPS is extremely fun and timeless. Waste Nazis in a castle (hideout or something) and blast away with machine guns and miniguns. Wolfenstein 3-D is an extreneky good value giving you all six episodes and missions (each with numerous levels) where you can slaughter your way through to end bosses and find hidden rooms and treasure. Unlock PS3 trophies as you cruise through the game, Wolfenstein 3D (or Wolfenstien 3D if you’re searching for an improperly spelled title on google) is a precurser to Doom and Quake and needs to be played by all FPS video game fans. This CGRHD review of Wolfenstein 3D has gameplay from PS3 Wolfenstein 3D also on XBLA for Xbox 360. Wolfenstein 3D can also be downloaded from iTunes for iPod as an app. Look out for gameplay secrets and rooms behind pictures as you play the game!

Part 1 of 2. Watch in HIGH DEFINITION! Classic Game Room HD reviews Playstation HOME for the PS3, Playstation 3 Network. This free BETA version of Home allows you to create a Playstation avatar and rearrange furniture in your apartment. This CGRHD Playstation 3 Home review has gameplay footage of Home, which is like Second Life except without the ability to really do anything… although I haven’t played Second Life, since I’m usually busy living my first life. And playing video games. Anyway, Home is a like a 2nd life that you can lead and run around the center square courtyard area, meet other Playstation gamers from around the world, dance, insult people, play mini-games, go bowling, shop, use flamethrowers (just kidding), watch game and Sony-owned movie trailers and basically interact with the PS3 community. Where is trophy support? Where are the commands like jump, punch, kick and steal cars? Home shows great promise, and it’s a free Beta so you can’t fault them for it not being perfect. Classic Game Room loves, no LOVES the bowling alley in Home and the arcade games in there. CGRHD strikes up conversations with a few people around the globe, annoys the crap out of others and is a general, all around nuisanse. But CGRHD specializes in being obnoxious because it makes for better video game reviews, and this review of Home for the Playstation Network should be fairly entertaining. Classic Game Room is a Playstation 3 Network reviewer reviewing games on PS3 and Xbox 360 and Colecovision. Watch Classic Game Room cause problems and bring HOME to its knees… well, not really. But if we could we would. I’d like my avatar to be Godzilla, is that too much to ask?

Pool games can be hit or miss depending on the controls, and Pool Hall Pro plays quite well even if the visuals aren’t up to current standards. Adjust your shot, choose where to hit the cue ball and fire away. The ball positioning and strategy used in real pool is all here and physics are done well.
