Classic Game Room HD reviews CALL OF DUTY 4 MODERN WARFARE for PS3, also on Xbox 360. COD4 Modern Warfare is one of the most popular video games ever created and for good reason, you get a lot of game with this game! An awesome fantasty based James Bond adventure-style single player campaign where you have to stop a group of tyrants from destroying the world. COD 4 has an amazing ortment of modern weapons including the MP5 and Javelin. The frantic battle scenes and attention to detail that are in COD2 and 3 are back with a suitable amount of ferocity and overall gameplay is superb. This CGR review of Call of Duty 4 has gameplay from COD4 showing the game play during this video game review of COD 4 Modern Warfare, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Being that this is one of the most popular games ever made means that there are millions of people playing multiplayer deathmatch, team death match and other games online. PS3 Playstation Network performance was smooth and free of lag or complications. The XBLA Xbox 360 version is supposed to be well done too (we didn’t check that version though). The COD4 Game of the Year Edition also has a fun arcade mode where you can play through missions in the game to earn arcade-style points and rack up a huge multiplyer by playing well and wasting bad guys. Good times packed into one COD4 game disc here, good times… It’s just too bad it’s not on the Vectrex.

Shoot paratroopers with your cannon before they raid your buildings and destroy your cannon! This CGR review of Commando Raid for Atari 2600 has gameplay from this Atari VCS game cartridge showing game play in action as Commando Raid is played! Works with Atari joystick controllers and gets repetitive, but it’s still fun and easy to find these days. Shoot helicopters and the occasional airplane as well. Score points, blast androids and eat oatmeal. Atari!

Classic Game Room HD reviews GEARS OF WAR 2 for Xbox 360. This sequel to the original Gears of War has more of a fantasy adventure feel than the first one, a Jason and the Argonauts meets Inner Space crossed with The Empire Strikes Back with Gears of War gameplay. It’s darned fun (if burnin’ people with mungheads and cutting them in half is your thing)! Marcus Fenix and crew take on the enemy horde once again with machine guns, chainsaws, mortars, miniguns and more. Slaughter the grubs without mercy and save your people from extinction. This CGRHD review of Gears of War 2 has gameplay from GOW2 showing game play in action on Xbox 360. Gears of War 2 has multiplayer map packs available for download as well, CGR reviews that in a separate review. Good times, good friends and lots of enemies to mangle with heavy artillery. Duck, cover, aim and shoot…. it’s GEARS OF WAR 2.

Classic Game Room HD reviews HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE for Xbox 360. This game is also available on Playstation 3 PS3 and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince can be played on Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP and Playstation 2 (but no Vectrex!??). Play as Harry Potter and a few other characters as Voldemort tightens his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds. Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven that it once was and Harry suspects that evil may exist within the castle. Dumbledore prepares Harry for the final battle which approaches, as Harry requests help from Professor Slughorn who holds memories in his head which could help. The teens run wild with hormones raging, fueled by magic and love potions…. how will it all end?? Harry Potter fans should enjoy this well made, technically solid romp through the Harry Potter world. Mix potions, duel with magic and take to the air as Seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Discover the identity of the Half Blood prince in Harry Potter the video game for Xbox 360! Earn loads of achievement points and trophies (in the PS3 version) while playing Harry Potter. Collect crests hidden throughout the castle and mini-crests lurking within lights. Battle enemies, friends and mix potions illegal in 49 states. Harry Potter keeps it real for his 6th year… shouldn’t he be graduating soon? Classic Game Room HD reviews WOLFENSTEIN 3D for PS3 from the Playstation Network store, also available for Xbox 360 on Xbox Live Arcade XBLA, Wolfenstein 3D is originally from id Software and was released in 1992 on PC. This version is published by Activision for Playstation 3 and XBLA and runs in 720P high definition (on PS3) and looks and sounds terriffic. Regarded as the first, modern first person shooter, this FPS is extremely fun and timeless. Waste Nazis in a castle (hideout or something) and blast away with machine guns and miniguns. Wolfenstein 3-D is an extreneky good value giving you all six episodes and missions (each with numerous levels) where you can slaughter your way through to end bosses and find hidden rooms and treasure. Unlock PS3 trophies as you cruise through the game, Wolfenstein 3D (or Wolfenstien 3D if you’re searching for an improperly spelled title on google) is a precurser to Doom and Quake and needs to be played by all FPS video game fans. This CGRHD review of Wolfenstein 3D has gameplay from PS3 Wolfenstein 3D also on XBLA for Xbox 360. Wolfenstein 3D can also be downloaded from iTunes for iPod as an app. Look out for gameplay secrets and rooms behind pictures as you play the game!

Classic Game Room HD – EA SPORTS TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 10 for Wii review. Tiger Woods Golf 10 for Wii reviewed by Classic Game Room shows gameplay from EA Sports Tiger Woods Golf PGA Tour 2010 with game play during golfing in the video game. Tiger Woods 10 for Wii has 7 new courses including Bethpage Black and Oakmont Country Club, host of the 2007 US Open. The US Open can be played in this Wii game, as can frisbee golf! Yes, disc golf is here and play frisbee on the courses in the game. Graphics are imporved, new online gameplay modes and tournaments to compete in. Better menu music than Tiger Woods 09, more courses and outfits. Gameplay is pretty much the same but more of a good thing is a great thing and while CGR scores a triple bogey, EA scores an Eagle with Tiger Woods 10 (ha ha ha! get it!!) Part 1 of 2. Watch in HIGH DEFINITION! Classic Game Room HD reviews Playstation HOME for the PS3, Playstation 3 Network. This free BETA version of Home allows you to create a Playstation avatar and rearrange furniture in your apartment. This CGRHD Playstation 3 Home review has gameplay footage of Home, which is like Second Life except without the ability to really do anything… although I haven’t played Second Life, since I’m usually busy living my first life. And playing video games. Anyway, Home is a like a 2nd life that you can lead and run around the center square courtyard area, meet other Playstation gamers from around the world, dance, insult people, play mini-games, go bowling, shop, use flamethrowers (just kidding), watch game and Sony-owned movie trailers and basically interact with the PS3 community. Where is trophy support? Where are the commands like jump, punch, kick and steal cars? Home shows great promise, and it’s a free Beta so you can’t fault them for it not being perfect. Classic Game Room loves, no LOVES the bowling alley in Home and the arcade games in there. CGRHD strikes up conversations with a few people around the globe, annoys the crap out of others and is a general, all around nuisanse. But CGRHD specializes in being obnoxious because it makes for better video game reviews, and this review of Home for the Playstation Network should be fairly entertaining. Classic Game Room is a Playstation 3 Network reviewer reviewing games on PS3 and Xbox 360 and Colecovision. Watch Classic Game Room cause problems and bring HOME to its knees… well, not really. But if we could we would. I’d like my avatar to be Godzilla, is that too much to ask?

This massive RPG role playing game allows you to choose one of 6 character classes and lay waste to an enormous fantasy world. This CGRHD review of SACRED 2 FALLEN ANGEL has gameplay video from Sacred 2 Fallen Angel on PS3, also on Xbox 360 and PC which probably look similar. Technically solid and very well made this RPG has over 600 side missions along with a plot involving T Energy or something like that, basically you could lose a life in here and play forever. Sacred 2 Fallen Angel has multiplayer and co-op gameplay so that you can play with a friend. Level your character up and earn Sacred 2 Fallen Angel trophies. Hundreds of weapons and monsters are waiting to be discovered, interact with villagers and solve their problems with violence and brute force. Learn magic like spells and combat skills… reminds me of Ultima VII for some reason, maybe it’s just that I forgot how awesome these games are when done right. Follow Classic Game Room and Rexenephex on our quest to explore the map and crush everything in sight. Highly recommended for fans of fantasy role playing games RPGs and other adventure style games on PS3 and Xbox 360. Sacred 2 Fallen Angel is def. Rexenephex says so. Hi ho Galaxy Ranger!

Seek revenge against your creators and pretty much whatever or whoever gets in your way. Consume other people and morph into their form, throw taxis at people and jump off the Empire State Building. Prototype is darned fun and a violent, explody, bangy, crashy joy to play. It runs in High Definition and the Xbox 360 version has achievement points for Prototype. Earn weapon and jump upgrades (and more) and have a great time with side missions, challenges and other chaos that you create in Prototype! This downloadable PS3 game is a nice paddle game inspired by classics like Pong, Arkanoid and Breakout. CGRHD reviewed Magic Ball before, this review of Magic Ball Booster Pack has gameplay footage from the Magic Ball Booster Pack on PS3, which can be downloaded as an add-on to Magic Ball for $2.99. It is totally worth it! These are the best levels in the game and increase the difficulty level, speed and overall frantic nature of the gameplay. I liked Magic Ball before but thought it was a bit slow at times, not with this booster pack. It rocks now. Comes with new trophies for PS3 network and 24 all new levels. Check out the Magic Ball Booster Pack if you like Magic Ball, it’s magicballalicious. Word up!
