Author: admin
Classic Game Room HD reviews the legendary first person shooter, DOOM for the Super Nintendo. Doom on the SNES may not be the best version of ID’s Doom, but it does have a cool, red game cartridge. This CGR review of Doom for SNES has gameplay footage from Doom on Super Nintendo showing the video game play in action from this early FPS released on PC in 1993 and for SNES in 1995. ID Software made history with titles like Wolfenstein 3D and Doom, regarded as (some of) the earliest, modern first person shooters. Waste enemies with a variety of weapons like the shotgun and chaingun, find armor and power ups. The SNES version of Doom suffers from slow response time, a small screen and nearly invisible enemies. There are better versions out there, but the game is still legendary. Doom it up with DOOM!

Classic Game Room HD – CRIMSON GEM SAGA for PSP review
Author: admin
Classic Game Room HD reviews CRIMSON GEM SAGA for Sony PSP from Atlus. This fantasy adventure RPG style video game has hand drawn sprites and a beautiful design all around. Japanese in style, but not overly cute or abnoxious, fans of new and old school fantasy adventures should check this one out. Guide your Luke Skywalker inspired character through an amazing quest to locate the Wicked Stone and avoid numerous bad guys and villains. Meet friends along the way, battle monsters and level up your characters. Excellent menu structure and leveling up systems round out this game with a high degree of playability. Save frequently and take it on the go, this CGRHD review of Crimson Gem Saga has gameplay footage from Crimson Gem saga on PSP showing game play in action. Graphically solid and with excellent audio quality, the pickiest RPG video game fan should get a kick out of this one. Storyling seems about average, but gameplay is a lot of fun and easy to pick up and take on the go.

Classic Game Room HD – TRANSFORMERS 2 for Wii review
Author: admin
Classic Game Room HD reviews TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN for Nintendo Wii. It’s like the Bumblebee of Transformers video games. It should just transform into a car and drive itself off a cliff. Less than meets the eye kids, less than meets the eye. Buy or rent the AWESOME Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for Xbox 360 or PS3 and avoid this one. In an odd twist of fate (even odder than robots adopting the form of cars and school busses) the Transformers 2 video game has numerous versions… the Xbox 360 and PS3 version, two Nintendo DS versions and this mess on the Nintendo Wii. Sloppy controls, poor graphics and lackluster gameplay make this Transformers game the one to miss. This CGRHD review of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen for Wii has gameplay footage from Transformers 2 on Wii showing the video game being played. Play Autobot and Decepticon, both (you can’t choose like you can in the 360 version) and play through a variety of mission types where the camera angles add confusion to what could have otherwise been a straight forward punch and shoot brawler.

Classic Game Room HD – THE CONDUIT for Wii review
Author: admin
Classic Game Room HD reviews THE CONDUIT for Nintendo Wii from Sega. Is The Conduit the best first person shooter on the Wii? CGRHD thinks so. A cool single player campaign, multiplayer that works and excellent production values make The Conduit a must have for action game fans with a Wii. No longer can you complain about shovelware shooters, Sega has delivered the goods and the goods are called ‘Da Condooit. Can ya do it? I Conduit! So can you! This CGRHD review of The Conduit has gameplay footage from The Conduit on Wii showing single player FPS shooting and multiplayer on Nintendo Wii in The Conduit. It is a science fiction game with aliens and stuff and bad guys and a conspiracy and…. whatever, shotguns, rocket launchers, laser guns and machine guns!! Deathmatch, team deathmatch and more over Nintendo Wi-Fi. Conduit is Sega’s answer to what didn’t exist in the first place. A good, non-stop, action packed Wii shooter with functioning multiplayer.

Classic Game Room HD – POOL HALL PRO for Wii review
Author: admin
Classic Game Room HD reviews POOL HALL PRO for Nintendo Wii. Shoot pool in arcade mode, exhibition or tournament against a variety of opponents (who are invisible!!). Pool games can be hit or miss depending on the controls, and Pool Hall Pro plays quite well even if the visuals aren’t up to current standards. Adjust your shot, choose where to hit the cue ball and fire away. The ball positioning and strategy used in real pool is all here and physics are done well. This CGRHD review of Pool Hall Pro has gameplay footage from Pool Hall Pro on Wii showing the game play as the pool video game is reviewed.

Classic Game Room HD reviews METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION for Nintendo Wii. Samus is back in the 3rd Metroid Prime (the 1st two are on Gamecube) and pushed the Wii to its limits with outstanding visuals, smooth gameplay and explosive sounds. Why don’t all Wii games look like this?? This CGRHD review of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has gameplay footage from Metroid Prime Corruption showing Samus in game play, are you stuck in a section? Well, hope you found this in a search engine because I used the word stuck, Xbox 360 and PS3 (ha!), but I can’t help you there. However CGRHD likes Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and gives it a good review with favorable opinions. Although CGRHD prefers non-stop blasting and explosions, the puzzle and problem solving parts of Metroid Prime 3 will appeal to fans of the series and fans of science fiction adventure games. This is a first person shooter style game that uses the Wii controller and nunchuk to control where Samus aims and moves. It’s a very unique control system that has rave reviews from Wii fans everywhere. Turn into a pinball and roll through tight spots, double jump, use the super fancy-word power up laser thingy and upgrade your awesome space ship. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is a flagship title on the Wii and is a well made, challenging and lengthy video game from Nintendo. While I still prefer the 1987 NES Metroid, this one is a must play on the Nintendo Wii. Will there be a Metroid Prime 4 release in 2009 or 2010? Is there a Nintendo Wii 2 with a new Metroid Prime in HD? Maybe, or maybe you just found this by searching for it because you dreamed it. There should be. Dig Dug should also make a guest appearance.
