I just want to lose like three inches. I have been trying forever but nothing is working. i eat healthy and I do cardio exercises. I run/walk three times a week. i do this workout dancing video( which is at least 1 hour long) every day. So are there any side affects to it. I know that you poop a lot and you may puke but other then that? I am only going to stay on for 5 days at most. i would also like reviews of anyone who tried this.

The Master Cleanse is really not for weight lose, its for cleaning toxins out of the body. One of the major benefits is that you will loose weight. But there’s really no telling how much you will loose. So it’s going to be really difficult for you to control how much you you loose around the waist.
My sister-in-law has complete the cleanse twice and is happy with the results. It’ has changed her whole approach to eating. It’s caused me to do some research on the subject and I gotta say I’m probably going to do it myself. Read up on it for yourself before you make a decision.

Greeting all anime/manga and video game fans! Me, my girlfriend and the rest of my buddies are going to have a retro N64 Pokemon Stadium amonst each other and the computers from within the game! So I took my Pokemon Yellow game and started playing with it for a couple of days… Now, behold… FEAST YOU EYES ON THESE POKEMON!!!! (Keep in mind that this is a Gameboy Color game so please don’t make ANY references to new moves, legendary pokemon or anything recent.)

- Pikachu LV: 50 Thunderbolt, Mega Kick, Double Team, Reflect
- Charizard LV: 51 Flamethrower, Earthquake, Slash, Sword Dance
- Blastoise LV: 51 Surf, Ice Beam, Dig, Body Slam
- Venusaur LV: 51 Razor Leaf, Slash, Leech Seed, Toxic
- Alakazam LV: 50 Psychic, Recover, Counter, Substitute
- Dragonite LV: 55 Horn Drill, Thunder Wave, Hyper Beam, Ice Beam

Here are some pointers about my team:
Pikachu is overall a very weak pokemon… that’s what reflect is for. I altered the Mega Kick attack so that I can use more than five times (It’s power points are eight instead of five)
That’s my team in a nutshell… Please feel free to make any suggestions. Double team is used for aggravation.
- Charizard’s strategy is obvious. Sword Dance to increase attack power to insane levels and slash the living hell out my opponents. Earthquake is meant from Rock ground types.
- Blastoise… Just a regular ass Blastiose. Nothing stands out though. The Dig although is meant for electric types but if I fight against a Zapdos… well, wish me luck.
- For Venusaur, there is a glitch that allows Leech Seed to work the same way as Toxic does. The longer toxic lasts, the more damage it does overtime… Leech Seed would (unintentionally) work the EXACT same way. THe bad news is that it ONLY WORKS FOR EXEGGUTOR AND VENUSAUR ONLY…
- For somebody like me, ya’ll should have known that I was going to have an Alakazam on my team. Alakazam is fast and his special attacks are crazy… but his defensive ability is another story though. That’s why I have recover. The substitute is used to prevent further damages and counter is used just in case somebody wants to be a smart ass and use a hard hitting physical attack on me.
- Dragonite… I hate this pokemon. But, it’s extremely powerful nevertheless. *sigh* Sense, this pokemon is very high leveled, I just decided to arrange it so that it could outright destroy an opponent as quickly as possible…(As you guys can tell, I may have been playing too much SFVII to say something like that.)

That’s my team in a nutshell.

First, it is very important to note that, as far as building good teams goes, the gameboy games are VERY different from Stadium. I’ll mention more about this later.
Overall, your team is very weak to ice–you have two weak, another double-weak, and only one resistant. Your team is also very weak to Rock–you have one weak, another double-weak, and none resistant.
Venusaur can’t learn Slash. I don’t know where you got the idea that it can.
Pikachu needs to learn Surf (Lose either Double Team or Reflect) and then evolve. All of Raichu’s stats are higher than Pikachu’s.
For Charizard, Swords Dance does NOTHING to help Slash. Slash is always crtitical, and criticals aren’t affected by stat modifiers (regardless of what future generations of pokemon may have taught you). You could replace Slash with Fly, Double-Edge, Body Slam, or Mega Kick. Or, you could replace Swords Dance with Fissure, Fire Spin, or something else cool like maybe Substitute or Mimic.
For Blastoise, note that the ONLY possible reason to use Dig instead of Earthquake is if you want to draw out poison damage or dodge an Explosion. Earthquake does as much damage, is just as accurate, and has the benefit of not giving your opponent a guarantee as to what your next move will be. It’s pretty uncommon for an opponent to let their electric type get hit by Dig.
For Dragonite, note that Hyper Beam is pretty much only good in Linkbattle. In Stadium, there is no way to cancel the recharge, even if you miss or make a KO. You can get more damage per turn with Double-Edge or Body Slam.
For Venusaur, note that your opponent can undo Toxic’s (and therefore Leech Seed’s) increasing effect merely by switching. Toxic+Leech Seed is good on Linkbattle–because Toxic is good on Linkbattle, so why not use Leech Seed with it too? However, differences in Stadium make it so that Toxic is not as good; in Stadium, Paralysis is the only status effect worth using (In Stadium, poisoned pokemon do not take damage on the turn they are switched in, plus it is considerably easier to escape from Wrap; I know Venusaur doesn’t have Wrap but still it’s one of those things that overall makes Toxic good in Linkbattle but bad in Stadium). Leech Seed can still be useful in Stadium, but if you use Toxic your opponent will likely thank you for making them immune to Paralysis.
Speaking of which, your team needs more paralyzers. Pikachu and Alakazam could both learn Thunder Wave, OR one of them could learn Thunder Wave and you could have three Body Slammers, OR all your pokemon except Dragonite could have Body Slam (I recommend the first one).
I noticed that almost all of your moves are 100% accurate. You should definitely have some moves that are guaranteed to hit (at least one per pokemon in general), but it is good to have some choice as to whether you want to have a sure hit or a chance to do more damage.

My little sister is 12 years old and has an amazing voice! She really wants to be a singer, and has performed and is quite well known locally, but she would like fame on a bigger scale. She has applied for the 2011 series of Britain’s Got Talent, but her first audition isn’t until November. I recently told her how a girl I spoke to, Beckii, gained fame on YouTube posting videos of herself dancing. I said that she should post videos of her singing on YouTube like Justin Bieber. So, last week, we set up a YouTube account for her. She already has 2 videos up there, but not many views, yet. I told her that it’s still early days yet, but she’s getting disheartened. She keeps saying "Well, you’ve had your account for 3 months and you’ve only had 47 views!" (This isn’t a great point for her to make, considering I’ve only posted one video, and it’s just me and my friends dancing in the garden and pretending to be Louie Spence!) So, please will you give me some websites that I could show her, or at least go on her channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/singinggingabear) and watch/review her videos.

Greetings all anime/manga fans, video game fans and guests. I am currently playing the ORIGINAL Pokemon Gold game as of now. I would like for you guys (and gals) to witness my current pokemon team and review them. I need to know if this team is perfect for Pokemon Stadium 2:

Typhlosion LV 51 (Held Item: Magnet) Thunder Punch, Fire Blast, Earthquake, Hyperbeam
Alakazam LV 51 (Held Item: Black Sunglasses) Psychic, Recover, Future Sight, Shadow Ball
Raichu LV 50 (Held Item: None) Thunder, Rain Dance, Endure, Reversal
Porygon 2 LV 51 (Held Item: Scope Lens) Curse, Tri Attack, Hyper Beam, Recover
Blastoise LV 51 (Held Item: King’s Rock) Mirror Coat, Surf, Blizzard, Headbutt
Scizor LV 50 (Held Item: Quick Claw) Steel Wing, Fury Cutter, Swords Dance, Double Team

Here is some insight on my strategy:
- My Blastiose has "Headbutt" to cause other people’s pokemon to flinch while its holding "King’s Rock"
- Why would Typhlosion have "Thunder Punch?" Because water pokemon don’t like it, that’s why. And to add an insult to injury he is holding a magnet… so yeah.
- Alakazam has "Future Sight" just in case he ends up facing a steel type. (Future Sight IS a psychic move but it still inflicts a set amount of damage, DISREGARDING the it’s type much like Siesmic Toss or Nightshade.) Shadow ball is used for dark types and other psychics…
- Raichu’s strategy is obvious. Endure will give me always leave me with one HP against any attack, and Reversal will pay them back DEARLY. Imagine if I was facing a Tyranitar or something along those lines.
- Scizor ’s strategy is also obvious and it is a very high tiered Pokemon. (Fire is it’s only weakness after all.)
- Porygon 2 is just their on my team to piss other people off. Curse does wonders for this pokemon… if it takes too much damage then I use recover and tossing my Tri Attacks and Hyperbeams (I believe that Tri Attack incorporates fire, ice and electric effects so…)

Please rate my team and make any suggestions for which kind of Pokemon I should be catching next (NOTE: Make sure all comments and statements are completely relevant to this question and don’t mention anything about legendary pokemon. Sorry guys… But, last time I posted this question people gave me BS. Thanks)

Hmm, i would rate your team as good, why?All the other pokemon except Typhlosion have very good attacks and help items.However your typhlosion i think should know Flamethrower instead of having 2 5 pp only moves.Other than that nice team dude!.Oh yeah, he should hold charcoal

Recently, I posted two records of me singing. Few months later I received two e-mail about those record posted on the audition on internet. On saying on my first post that they would review my thing and the finalists would be noticed if they were good. And the other told me to post some videos of me dancing… So my question is: is this good? I mean, is this a good sign? Should I really post a video of me dancing? Cause it’s only on my second application that I got that message…

annnd, i think you should. this could either mean that your videos were good and they want to see what other talents you have. or else, it could mean the opposite, to see if you were better at anything else. so i think either way, it’ll help you.

Let me paint for you the picture of my life. I’m 22 years old, on the verge of obtaining a degree in Biochemistry and applying to medical school. I’m about 5,8, In decent shape, very warm and friendly with people, said to be decently attractive (a few sources). However, I seem to be plagued with the inability to meet and retain potential friends.

To be frank, I have never even hugged a member of the opposite sex aside from my mother and sisters, I have never been on a date, my friends list on aim (12 people lol) is composed entirely of males albeit with the exception of some females from my family. I have no face book; I claim not to use it because I don’t believe in conformity when really I don’t use it because I know virtually no one.

I’ve gone through 4 years of high school without attending a single party, dance, or social event with friends aside from just hanging out and playing video games. College was more or less the same thing although a large factor of my seclusion was due, in part, to intense study; I will make no excuses, I was also terrified of my peers although they seemed to respect me and make attempts to include me. I am regretful now that I did not entertain their gestures. Nowadays, I sit in my bed on Friday nights with my laptop and read articles, movie reviews, medical school forums, listen to music, and do homework while everyone else seems to be enjoying their youth.

To shorten things up, I became heavily attracted to a female in college. However, while making attempts to become closer to her I inadvertently pushed her farther away (in a strictly non-physical manner, she was dating another guy and I made the mistake of saying I "liked" her), sadly at the expense of an exhilarating (from my eyes) friendship. Now, I’m going to be in school for just 2 more quarters and i’ve recently found another girl who I think is very cute, and will try to get to know her.

Anyway, I’ve realized that I am almost incompatible with other human beings on a social level, although I am capable of speaking to them from a vantage and garnering a certain amount of respect from my peers. It feels as though I’m looking through a sheet of glass at the people around me, detached and non-included. As I age I become more and more fearful that I may one day reach a point where I may never have the opportunity of falling in love mutually and experiencing a meaningful, exciting friendship with a young woman.

Just how messed up am I socially?
Plainly stated, what would you do/have done differently had you been in my situation?
What are some of the reasons you would postulate for my inability to connect?
What are some things I can do now to strengthen my ability to communicate with people?
Any other information is appreciated.

I think I know what your trying to say. Well relationships start off with casual conversations about things that both of you appreciate. The relationship continues to grow from that point onwards and doesn’t start with a blunt "I like you". I was the same when I was in high school, I didn’t like the ideas of parties or social gatherings but when I am forced to go, I always take a notebook or pad and pencil or pen. I write my observations on what goes on a party and how do the people interact. I think that’s a good way but try not to get caught or else you’ll be treated as a weird person. People aren’t socially messed up, they haven’t socially "bloomed" yet.

Reese methodically worked on her Algebra homework during homeroom. At the moment she was thinking about John. She and John were supposed to be studying for their test in about ten minutes. She anticipated every moment by looking at the clock. She couldn’t wait to get next to John. He was too irresistible for her to not think about him.
She stared at her pencil as she waited for Livingston to dismiss the students to go to their assigned study rooms. Right now she was squirming in her seat wanting to meet up with John.
"Hey," Demi said, placing her hand on her desk. "Holly told me to tell you to meet her by the cafeteria after homeroom."
"Okay, thanks," said Reese, looking up from her desk. "
"You wouldn’t believe what I heard," announced Demi. "Jude is getting these strange texts from this random girl saying how much she loves him."
"I know, I’ve heard!" replied Reese, laughing. "It’s so funny. The texts are like ‘Oh, Jude….I want to suck your dick.’"
Damien, Savannah, and Aaron snickered at Reese’s comment. Reese had a hard time not laughing at the ridiculous stories her friends came up with. People like Jude needed to be screwed with every once and a while. It was a random gag to pick on Jude. He was the most gullible person in the group.
"Okay, class," announced Livingston, pulling down the white screen for the video announcements. "Hand me your passes."
Reese swiftly got up out of her seat and walked over to her desk. She handed her the pink slip and waited for her to sign it. When she was done, Reese thanked her and took the slip from her hands.
On her way to the library, Jen stopped her halfway there.
"Have you seen Vincent?" Jen asked, her face tear-stained. "I need to talk to him."
"Jen, just get over it," groaned Reese. "It’s not the end of the world. You’re a beautiful girl. Any guy would want you."
"I don’t care." Jen shook her head. "I just want to talk to Vincent. He had no right to dump me right after the school dance."
Reese felt for her. She really did, but she was already dealing with a lot of problems. It was one thing for Savannah to nearly kill herself on Sunday, but now Jen was being dramatic. She didn’t known when the problems would end.
"Hey, I’ll talk to you later," promised Reese. "I have to study."
"Fine," sighed Jen. "I’ll just talk to Andy."
"You do that!" shouted Reese, darting down the hallway.
She made it to the library and clocked in with the girl manning the desk. Afterward she walked into the media lab and found John already reviewing his textbook.
"Hey," she waved, sitting in the chair next to him. "You ready?"
"Yeah," he grinned, putting an arm around her waist.
For a while they went over questions for their Spanish test. Even remembering lyrics from Spanish artists. When they were done they walked back to the library and sat on one of the couches.
"I think we’ll ace it," John said, putting his feet up on the table. "How ’bout you."
"Positive," responded Reese.
"You wanna hang out today?"
"Yeah, no doubt."
"What’s that I heard with Jude and text messaging."
"You gotta ask Demi." laughed Reese. "She knows everything."
With that, she leaned over and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. Ever since that night at Karyn’s party they had been inseparable. John even texted her every hour just to see if she was alright. She could get used to this.
During lunch she sat at the table with her girlfriends talking about the next party.
"How ’bout at Monica’s house?" suggested Courtney, glancing hopefully at Monica.
"We’ll see," Monica said noncommittally.
"Who’s coming?" asked Reese, chewing on a celery stick.
"Our friends," laughed Holly. "Duh."
"Sorry," Reese giggled, taking a sip through her straw.
"Do you think Carter and his new girlfriend are cute?" Monica asked, straightening her glasses on her face.
"Maybe," shrugged Courtney. "Nicole seems nice enough."
"Yeah," mentioned Reese. "And she’s pretty."
"I agree," said Holly. "Maybe not as pretty as Vanny, but—"
"No, Holly," said Reese. "Let’s not go there again. Vanny is doing alright."
"Well, if you say so," Holly said finally, biting into her chicken sandwich.
Reese was sure Savannah would be alright. Even though people were talking about the incident at the dance, she hadn’t shown any signs of weakness. And Reese admired her for that.

Prepare for my harsh nitpicks :
“At the moment she was thinking about John” – you don’t need to tell us this. You already show us she’s thinking about John in the next few sentences.
“She and John…she anticipated…she couldn’t wait..”- all she she she she. Why not change sentence structure?

“She didn’t [know] when the problems would end”
““Hey[!]” She waved” – this is because waving is not about talking, so you can’t use a comma to separate it from the dialogue.
Same to “he grinned”. You can say: “”Yeah,” he said, grinning” but not the way you did in your story. Should replace the comma by a period.
Overall: I actually have mixed feelings about this piece. Whilst the plot is intriguing, the whole text is flooded with dialogue with hardly any more descriptions. This is called “tell not show”. Perhaps you shouldn’t be pushing actions on too much, but give us insights about how your characters feel etc. Make sense?
