“You a jerk, jerk, jerk, Jerk” you hear it on the radio and the Jerkin dancers get hyphy & go hard geeked up.

What exactly is Jerkin? It is a dance that is spreading across the world with roots in L.A. and the Hyphy movement. The New Boyz and the Fresh boyz both have had a big part in bringing the jams to the streets. The Jerk dance is tight, Its a dance technique that involves moves like the diamond, Sponge bob and the Nut drop among many other styles.

Jerk dancers can be found on Youtube.com by the thousand, lookin’ for a million.

All these kids are on the come up and the main focus is to be seen and dominate in the local as well as internet scene. Most of the jerk dancers have a goal of finding clothing companies that will “sponsor” them… meaning they get free fresh gear to rock and then they rep the clothing line on their videos and on the social network sites like myspace and facebook etc.

Jerkin is about skill, style, technique and workin what you got right on the spot!

While “You a jerk” has dominated the radio for quite some time, some really good new Jerk music is coming out like Bamm! Tight jams to take it low and show some skills while rockin them skinnies and moppin up the sweeties. These kids get off, I often wonder if thats how they came up with the term Jerkin, because its a very self serving sort of dance, kinda like old school Hip Hop Breaking and popping… Alll eyes on me sort of stuff.

Jerkin clothes have a varied style but some of the  common things seen are skinny Jeans, Clean tees, Headphones, hats, Caps worn off the dome and some even rock scarves over a bright colored shirt. it seems to have a lot of skating and early New wave/Punk rock influences with a new twist. Jerk gear is all about style, finesse and rockin that shit fresh and crisp. You know that its on the come up when even the top 40 MCs and R&B singers give props to Jerkin in the pop songs. Its BIG!

All together now! Jerkin is a habit.. We got this on lock and it can only get better from the hood to youtube, from the videos to the songs. We got a huge undergrtound movement right here, You know its hot when you find kids in the UK and far East rockin and adding to their own jerk styles of dance and fashion. “It cannot be stopped, so drop it to the flo’ and show them lil’ cuties what we came here fo’”

Fresh off her star turn as innocent, lovestruck Bella Swan in Twilight, the 18-year-old actress — best known as the hippie chick in Sean Penn’s Into the Wild — is researching a very different movie role at the moment, that of a young stripper. Michael Jackson, also known as the king of pop, died on June 25, 2009. It was shocking news heard worldwide due to his international success as a music artist. His legacy will live on forever every time his songs like Thriller, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, and Heal the World are played and his music videos are shown that feature his signature dance moves like the moon walk. Not only will he live on through the music, but he will also be remembered in comics. His many talents such as singer-songwriter, musical arranger, record producer, choreographer, dancer, actor, businessman, and author are worthy of fame and recognition. There have also been other tributes on music channels, concerts, and near his home in Los Angeles.

The comic books industry is showing tribute to Michal Jackson by releasing a comic by Bluewater Productions called, Tribute: Michael Jackson, King of Pop. The comic is planned to be released sometime in October. The comic will be a biography of his life, similar to other Bluewater Productions biography comics like the Female Force series. The comic will feature a wrap around cover and a foreword by Giuseppe Mazzola who is part of The Official Michael Jackson Fan Club. It is a limited special edition book. This tribute is so appropriate for him because Michael Jackson loved comic books. He collected comics and read them. According to an article written by Josh Wigler for an MTV blog, Jackson almost purchased Marvel Comics in the early 1990s.

Michael Jackson’s career started when he was born the seventh child and lead singer of the Jackson 5. Their hits were popular in the Motown ere when Jackson was just a kid. In his teen years he began a solo career that proved to be a huge success. One of the world’s bestselling albums was released in the early 1980s by Jackson called Thriller, and he received the title king of pop. As an artist, he has won so many awards and recognitions. He’s been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, received 13 Grammy Awards, and can be found in the Guinness Book of World Records under the category most successful entertainer of all time. The fame and fortune made him a very charitable person. He raised millions of dollars for charities during his lifetime. He supported his own charity, Heal the World Foundation, and also raised money for other people’s charities. His accomplishments haven’t gone unnoticed and will be tastefully displayed in a comic.

The reason iTunes is so successful is that Apple treats it like any of its other products, and ensures that it provides precisely what people want.

iTunes is free

With this in mind, it’s perhaps surprising that iTunes is free. It also doesn’t matter whether you have a Mac or a PC, you can download iTunes without fuss on both

The fact is, you can have a first class piece of media library software to organise your music – and much more – for nothing. You’re not obliged to commit to buying anything, and you don’t have to give any debit or credit card details. The only time you part with payment information is if you choose to use the iTunes Store.

Organisation

iTunes lets you organise your digital media under five headings: Music; Movies; TV Shows; Podcasts; and Radio. Within the first four of these are further headings such as Albums; Artists; Genres; and, under Music, Composers.

Within each heading, you can arrange your items in alphabetical order. You can therefore organise everything in a straightforward manner and with complete confidence. It’s then simplicity itself to find what you want.

Features

When you choose iTunes as your MP3 programme, you get more than 100 features. Among the most recent and notable are Genius; Grid View; Cover Flow; and the new visualisers.

When you activate Genius and select a certain song, the Genius Playlist groups together 25, 50, or 100 songs from your library that complement your choice. The Genius Sidebar does something similar by presenting you with a playlist based on your chosen song and taken from the iTunes Store. Genius therefore pulls together songs for you that match a mood or style, and acts as your personal music mentor.

Grid View is the iTunes default method of viewing your music, films, and podcasts. It appears as a grid of relevant artwork, any one of which you click to start playing. Alternative ways of viewing your collection are as a list, or by using Cover Flow. Like Grid View, Cover Flow displays the artwork for your collection but allows you to “flick” through it, rather than have it all shown on one page.

The new visualisers are the incredible images you can ask iTunes to place on your computer screen. The effects are full of colour and movement, and make a mesmerising accompaniment to your music.

Updates and innovations

Since 2001, Apple has regularly upgraded iTunes with new versions that introduce the sort of features described above. Already, the latest iTunes version has reached number 8.0. This is evidence of Apple’s commitment to continually improve the software and respond positively to customer comments. iTunes has a heritage that other programmes can only dream about achieving.

Security

iTunes updates also maintain the software’s reliability. Some MP3 programmes are notorious for letting viruses enter computers. The iTunes Store resists viruses and spyware very effectively.

In addition, Apple ensures the payment system of the iTunes Store remains confidential. This means that hackers are unable to access data about your payment card and your purchases.

iPod compatibility

If you use an iPod with iTunes, compatibility comes as standard. When you plug your iPod into your computer via a USB 2.0 port, iTunes appears on screen. Depending on the settings you’ve chosen, iTunes immediately begins an automatic transfer to the iPod of your latest media items. Alternatively, you can pick what you want from your iTunes library manually. It’s that easy.

Portability

The iPod nano, classic, and touch can use Genius away from a computer. You simply ask the Genius menu on your iPod to create a list of songs that go well together.

You activate this feature through iTunes. iTunes is therefore responsible for helping your iPod become a truly portable music player.

Pay as you go

Should you decide to use the iTunes Store, you’re in for a treat. First of all, you pay for what you want. Unlike some MP3 music sites, you don’t have to agree to a monthly subscription, but this doesn’t mean that iTunes prices are high. Songs, for instance, are only £0.79.

As well as individual songs, the iTunes Store offers a comprehensive selection of albums. This is only part of the story, however. Once you start browsing, you come across music videos; episodes and seasons of TV shows; audiobooks; games; applications; college and university lectures (under the iTunes U heading); films; and podcasts. The podcasts are usually free to download, and you don’t necessarily have to buy the films that interest you – some are available to rent.

Choice

This choice within the iTunes Store runs into millions of items. There’s a remarkable selection designed to appeal to as many people as possible, whatever their media preferences. Music, for instance, has 21 genres. These include blues, children’s, comedy, classical, dance, folk, jazz, pop, and rock.

Legal

Furthermore, everything contained in the iTunes Store is legal. When you shop with iTunes, you don’t infringe copyright protection, and you aren’t involved with piracy.

Ad-free

Some MP3 programmes supplement their income with adverts. These can be both visual and audio. In other words, the ads can use up room on your screen, or oblige you to listen while you’re browsing.

iTunes is a self-contained piece of high quality software. There are no adverts, either in the media library or the iTunes Store.

Explicit content

Finally, the iTunes Store has parental controls that restrict access to explicit content. Set these, and you can rest assured your children can browse iTunes safely.

If you find a piece of music relaxing and love listening to, you may find it is ideal for your baby too. Mozart or Bach are good collections to have for bedtime. For soothing music there is Enya, or another choice for something peaceful and relaxing is Georgia Kelly’s harp music.

Nursery rhymes and music from children’s films can stimulate your baby’s senses when he is awake. Philip Glass is a minimalist and a lot of children respond to his music; the music is simple with a good rhythm and when your baby gets older, he will dance to it. To help get your baby to sleep try the gospel and spiritual music.

You can buy sound machines which simulate the sound of dolphins, or water in the form of rain, the sea or ocean which can be soothing whilst blocking out any background noise in your home. You can also put on a fan, though not directly in your baby’s direction, or some other form of white noise. It isn’t necessary to create an alternate silent surrounding for your baby, as they also need to get used to the usual home rhythm and the activities that go on around the house.

Classical music is also a good genre of music that you can try, if you’re not used to listening to it. Listening to what helps your baby get to sleep, can also be relaxing for you, so while you are both going through that bonding process, you can both enjoy some restful periods together.

The Rulebook to Get Your Ex Back

Going through a breakup is a pretty disorderly, chaotic mess…but in order to come out of it on top and hopefully get your ex to take you back for another try, you’ll have to abide by a few basic ground rules. This may seem like an anything-goes situation, but in truth there’s almost an art to it. Failing to take these guidelines into consideration will have some pretty poor results.

1) Avoid aggressively plowing back into the relationship. Take a few steps back and let your ex have some breathing room. Piling up pressure and rushing back into things will only cause more friction. In many cases, being too much in each others’ faces was one of the contributing factors to the original split, so you don’t want to add to your troubles.

2) You’re going to feel hurt and angry, it’s a natural part of the whole process. You just had your heart ripped out and stepped on, of course you’ll feel these things. However, letting them take hold of you and keep you from accomplishing anything is NOT what you want to do. Use them as fuel and motivation for success, not as the shackles that keep you stuck where you are.

3) A big mistake people make in this time is trying to change their ex so that things’ll work better the second time. That’s completely backwards! If anyone needs to change, it’s you…the only person you can be sure of relying on is yourself. It’s up to you to win your ex back, nobody else.

4) Just because you see your ex with someone else doesn’t mean you should go to despair and scrap the whole effort. It may be something serious, or it may just be a rebound relationship (which isn’t entirely a bad thing, you may even get good results out of having one of your own). The point is, all hope is not lost just because your ex is seeing people…you can still bounce back from a lot.

5) Hanging on for months or years can dance the fine line between pursuing a reunion and stalking your ex. If you’ve given it your best efforts and done everything right, and your ex still wants nothing to do with you…the time comes when you have to deal with the possibility that you two aren’t compatible or fated to be together. Hanging on forever only harms you both.

6) The things that brought down your first relationship can still be dangers even when you do get back together with your ex. Don’t let the same mistakes take you down again, because nobody has unlimited second chances. If you get your ex back, you must still manage to keep him or her. Returning to the destructive patters of old will only leave you lonely.

I have to do a concert review on Dvorak – Slavonic Dance Op.46 No.8. There are two pianists playing on one piano. One plays the treble clef and the other one plays the bass clef of the piece. What is each of the pianist called? Here’s a video of the piece.
